MIO contraception consultation
Contraception care starts with a consultation. But what questions do you ask And how do you choose an appropriate method together? What do you encounter when counselling about contraception? The training course 'MIO Contraception Consultation' is intended for everyone who counsels about contraception, whether you have a lot of experience or not.

Case study with Anne-Mieke
Those providing contraceptive care have to deal with various scenarios. There are many different methods available, all with their own effects, uses, complications and side effects. In addition, no two women are the same. Case study with Anne-Mieke addresses the question: how do I deliver contraceptive care focused on the individual?

Anticonceptie & Hormonen
'Anticonceptie & Hormonen' starts by explaining how the hormonal cycle works. After that, various hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptive methods are discussed in detail. How do different methods work? What are the side effects? How reliable are various methods and what about costs?

Women's Healthcare Day

Counsel meeting

What are the trends in contraception and how can you deal with them in practice? 'Contraception in Motion' pays attention to recent developments using national figures and scientific studies. In addition, there is plenty of room for discussion.

Trends in Contraception
The media are full of it: the shift in the field of contraception and the danger of influencers. 'Trends in Contraception' covers the latest figures and (research on) social media trends and apps. How can you deal with this as a healthcare provider?

Contraception in the Spotlight

'LARCs for Advanced' covers everything about long-acting contraceptive methods, or Long-Acting Revsersible Contraception (LARCs). The training puts operation, side effects, reliability and complications of implantable rod, hormone and copper IUDs in a scientific context.

Contraception Wanted
There are several contraceptive methods available. But what do you do when choice is limited by a contraindication or co-morbidity? 'Contraception Wanted: choice in case of contraindications' looks at options for this group, using the Medical Eligibility Criteria Wheel for contraceptive use WHO.
