This 3-in-1 STI test for women tests for the most common STIs chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomonas. You can take the test yourself at home with a vaginal swab. Once the sample has reached the laboratory, you can request the result within 3 working days using your unique code via this page. Good to know: for testing for these STIs, you should allow for an incubation period of 21 days after you have had unprotected sex. Taking the test can only be done after this period.

In the package you will find a cotton bud with collection tube. Use this to take a vaginal sample. After collection, remove the sticker with the QR code from the code card and stick it on the collection tube with your sample. Then pack the sample in the safety bag provided and send it to the laboratory in the return box. The laboratory will analyse whether chlamydia, gonorrhoea and/or trichomonas are present in your sample. Keep the code card safe, this will allow you to see the results within 3 working days. Please note: you can only request your result with this code. No result is possible without the code because the laboratory will not know which sample was yours. The test is therefore completely anonymous.

It is wise to get tested if you have had multiple bed partners during which you have had unsafe sex. The 3-in-1 STI test tests for the three most common STIs: chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomonas. The most common STI is chlamydia. Gonorrhoea is also common. Trichomonas is slightly less common.

Contact your GP if you get a positive test result. Chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomonas are common and can be treated well with antibiotics. In addition, inform (former) bed partners of the last six months so that they can also get tested. This is important because untreated STIs can lead to infertility, among other things.
