After 11 years of working as a first-line midwife, this position came my way. A new challenge in which I can use my knowledge and experience of the past years. I enjoy being able to support other healthcare professionals and contributing to the optimisation of healthcare for women.In my free time I like to do things with my family and I like to dance (salsa).
At Titus Health Care
Maaike is the primary contact person for midwives, GPs and PAs in the Gelderland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg region. She is responsible for providing information and services regarding T-Safe, Multi-Safe, Flexi-T, Ballerine and the necessary instruments. Maaike also provides medical insertion and removal training for the Implantation Rod. In addition, Maaike develops accredited refresher courses, and organises meetings and training sessions for healthcare professionals. Finally, in cooperation with healthcare professionals, she monitors developments in the gynaecological field.
Previous experience
Maaike has 11 years of working experience as a first-line midwife. During her work as a midwife in a partnership, she was involved on a daily basis in the contraceptive care of women of childbearing age.
